It’s Chris Harrison’s turn to give out a rose.
The former “Bachelor” host announced via Instagram on Monday that he’s engaged to Lauren Zima.
Harrison, 50, unveiled the news by sharing a sweet photo from the proposal, which took place at Brand vineyard in Napa Valley, Calif.
“I love you @laurenzima,” Harrison – who popped the question with a diamond ring from McClave Jewelers – captioned a series of photos. “The next chapter starts now!”
Zima, 33, also shared pics from the big moment to her own account, along with a heartfelt tribute to Harrison.
“We tell each other this all the time, and we said it again in an unforgettably beautiful moment this weekend: I didn’t know love could be like this,” the “Entertainment Tonight” correspondent gushed.
“You are the most incredible partner. Thank you for loving me, championing me and asking me to marry you,” she continued. “Here’s to the next amazing chapter, and all the rest 💍.”
Harrison and Zima have been dating for more than two years after meeting through various interviews tied to the “Bachelor” franchise.
“It’s been easy and I think that’s how it all starts. We started dating and, like any relationship, she made me happy,” Harrison previously told People. “She was kind, nice, we got along, she blended in great with my friends, and just all those steps in the relationship where you start checking those boxes off and it gets better and better and better.”
The engagement news comes after Harrison exited the “Bachelor” franchise following blowback for excusing Rachael Kirkconnell’s past racist behavior. At the time, Zima piled on and expressed her dismay.
“What Chris said was wrong and disappointing,” she said in a statement shared to her Instagram Stories. “Defending racism can never happen. Accountability comes first, what’s next is learning and growth.”
Harrison was ultimately replaced by Jesse Palmer as the new host of “The Bachelor.”
